First time for me - with very nice Corvette - I was anxious to understand how it worked and had lots of calls from brokers and drivers warning of problems. Turned out to be successful trip and car arrived in excellent shape with I guess normal road dirt.
Driver was helpful and appeared to be very careful loading my car. He accommodated our plans for the weekend when picking up the car, and we accommodated his wishes to drop our car 20 minutes from our destination and came and picked me up and took me to my car.
Broker was very helpful in explaining "how it works" but the timeline was tricky as I learned. The first available date was a Wed and I was leaving by plane early the following Wed. With broker office closed on the weekend we needed to connect with a driver Friday afternoon or go down to the wire on Monday or Tuesday. We heard from the driver Friday afternoon on our way to kids for the weekend and arranged the pickup for Sunday which worked well for the driver and for us.
I did learn a lot about how the process works and have a lot of respect for the brokers and the drivers. I expect I will do it again in the future.
