Is my car insured while it being shipped?

Do I have to provide insurance or is it insured by your company?

Yes! No doubt!

There is a slight possibility of dangerous and unpredictable events when trucking a car.

Fortunately, most carriers or brokerage companies provide cargo insurance. Cargo insurance is designed specifically to compensate for damages and losses during transportation.

It is very important to double-check if the company provides insurance or not; otherwise, the damages during the transportation will be at your own risk.

If there is damage and everything is noted in the paperwork (Bill of lading), there is a big chance of receiving full reimbursement for all the damages caused during the transportation process.

That is why: we always recommend noting any damages on the paperwork and having photo proofs.

Please consider that the items shipped inside/with the vehicle are not insured.
